If your ArmaEdit is not installing or uninstalling on Windows 11, there could be several reasons. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check System Requirements: Ensure that ArmaEdit is compatible with Windows 11. Some older programs may not function properly on newer operating systems.
Administrator Privileges: Make sure you are running the installer or uninstaller as an administrator. Right-click the installation or uninstallation file and select "Run as administrator."
Compatibility Mode: Try running the installation file in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. Right-click the file, select "Properties," then go to the "Compatibility" tab and choose an older OS version.
Disable Antivirus: Sometimes, antivirus software can block installations or uninstallations. Temporarily disable your antivirus program and see if that resolves the issue.
Check for Corrupt Files: If the installation file is corrupt, try downloading it again from a reliable source.
Use Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter for programs that cannot be installed or uninstalled. You can find this in the "Settings" under "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot" > "Additional troubleshooters."
Registry Cleanup: Sometimes, old registry entries can interfere with installations and uninstallations. Be cautious and consider using a trusted registry cleaner tool.
If none of these steps work, you might want to reach out to the software's support team for further assistance.
